It’s been one of the most addictive calls to action of the new millennium, fomented by some political choices and the media scare sirens, which rode the wave of the new virus in a quite reckless way — in Italy, many newspapers are now under accusation for causing alarm. The result was a massive-kind of medieval assault on the shelves, in search of food, antiseptic, and anti-virus masks. Those who remained empty-handed had to resort to makeshift means, showing in some cases even a certain originality of adaptation.

This last part of the story, in particular, is the one that caught the attention of creative people like Max Siedentopf, giving him the inspiration for his How-To Survive a Deadly Global Virus series. But other artists and studios would seem to have anticipated Max through some original ideas that fit so well within the theme in question — according to many people who shared them on the Internet, too.
