Twisted Reality

Due to the confidential nature of his work, Erik Lack can’t publicly share some of his projects. One of his most inner photographic series, focuses on evaluating internal aspects of his personality — hopes, fears, and realizations — while using digitally manipulated photography to project these feelings into a surreal physical world. Each photograph creates a world that is seemingly plausible but simultaneously contrived. The series is named Twisted Reality.

Grew up in Maryland and graduated with honors from RISD, Erik is a designer that thrives in intersections, exploring the in-betweens of physical, digital, data, and services. He has successfully created products as part of in-house teams and for clients at design consultancies within the health, education, and hospitality fields.
