Banksy with a Mask

Judging by what he’s doing around the rooms of his apartment, even Banksy seems to be following official advice from the British government to stay at home, nice and easy. Or nearly. “My wife hates it when I work from home,” he commented on Instagram, alongside a scene of his trademark stencilled rats running amok in a bathroom.

But if it’s really like that, who ever put a mask on his 2014 version of Johannes Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring — or Girl with the Pierced Eardrum — on the wall in Bristol Harbourside?
