Sacha Baron Cohen’s long-awaited return as Kazakhstani reporter Borat will arrive on 23 October. The British comedian secretly filmed the follow up to his hit 2006 mockumentary Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan during the coronavirus pandemic.

The new trailer sees Borat as hapless as ever. In it, he is accompanied by his daughter, Irina Nowak, who he has brought to “Yankee land” with the intention of marrying her off to someone “close to the throne”. Borat can be seen engaging in his usual hijinks and making people uncomfortable with his astounding lack of self-awareness.
