For a visionary mind, everything hides a story and a new life. The same goes for Helga Stentzel, a visual artist who works across a wide range of media including illustration, photography, video and stop motion animation. She started out as an Art Director in advertising industry where she learnt the basics of branding, marketing and strategic thinking.

Born and raised in Siberia, Russia, she moved to London at the age of 21 to study at Central Saint Martins. “London is one of the most inspiring cities I’ve ever lived in, and it’s very easy to refill your creativity cup here,” she said. “A short trip on the tube can spark lots of ideas as everything — from maps to billboards to carriages — has been designed with love and great attention to detail. And that’s just the tube!”
