Recycle Group

By taking objects such as plastic nets, thermal moldings, garbage cans and more, Recycle Group plays with the idea of the permanence of classical art in the non-permanent material. There is humor as well as message in the immortalization of rubbish.

Formed by Andrey Blokhin and Georgy Kuznetsov, the group has regularly participated in various exhibitions around the world, since 2008. Their works have been exhibited on a regular basis in museums, galleries and various contemporary art spaces in France, Italy, Great Britain, USA and Belgium. They won the Kandinsky Prize in the nomination “Young Artist”, in 2010, and Special Prize of Arte Laguna Art Prize “Festivals & Exhibitions”, in 2016. They were selected to represent Russia at the Venice Biennale 2017.
