Just for fun, Irina Blok has been working on a variety of creative passion projects, with some becoming viral. Her cartoons have been shared by millions of people and translated to 30 languages, and featured in Mercury News, New York Magazine, Süddeutsche Zeitung and Times of India.

The main theme is life and ways to deal with it. Fatality and sense of humour would seem to be fundamental ingredients for Irina. On the one hand the goals, on the other the meaning. “To be or not to be” is perhaps no longer a problem, there is hope — and of course creativity.

A Silicon Valley-based designer, she has worked for large companies including Google, Apple, Yahoo and Facebook, and has been founding designer at multiple startups, including designing Vurb for their victory in TechCrunch Disrupt 2014 and designing the future of shopping at Curbside.
